Monte's officially opened its doors to customers on Friday 2nd May, 2008.
With a refined interior decor courtesy of leading Portuguese designer Teresa Azevedo Coutinho, and a menu to rival that of any internationally-acclaimed restaurant, Monte's effortlessly complies with its concept of "doing common things uncommonly well"
The Restaurant
Traditional Algarvean favourites are presented with modern flair, like seared Golden Bream resting on a bed of Linguini, tossed in a sweet tomato sauce with a Ratatouille of vegetables, and oven roasted chicken breast filled with Portuguese salsicha sausage, served with potato dauphinoise and cream spinach with nutmeg.
Set as it is in a holiday destination, at the foothills of the picturesque golf course, Monte's caters for families and offers a full children's menu, as well as vegetarian options.
The Coffee Lounge
The restaurant is complimented by a unique Coffee Lounge concept, together offering ideal settings for romantic evening meals, business lunches, or just a quick coffee break with friends or business associates.
The Patio Area
Light snacks, lunch and dinner or just a coffee and pastry can be served on the patio which seats 20 to 30.

Lunchtime Special 2 courses €7.50
Every Wednesday eat as much as you can BBQ for €10.00 and children €5.00 from 12.00 – 3.00 p.m.
Every Friday eat as much as you can buffet for €10.00 and children €5.00 from 7.00 – 10.00 p.m.
Every Sunday 12.00 noon – 5.00 p.m. traditional Sunday Roast €10.50 and children €5.50 with free glass of rose wine on arrival.
Opening Times
Restaurant:
Tuesday – Saturday open from 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m. for lunch and dinner
Traditional Sunday lunch from 12.00 – 5.00 p.m.
Closed Sunday night and all day Monday.
Coffee Lounge:
10am - 5pm
Available for Weddings and Parties with no venue hire cost.
